Laura Bahiense

Laura is an Associate Professor in the Systems and Computer Engineering Program (PESC) at COPPE/UFRJ, with a PhD in Systems and Computer Engineering from COPPE/UFRJ (2000) in the field of Combinatorial Optimization. Her main research focuses on developing mathematical programming models, exact and heuristic algorithms, and machine learning models to solve complex problems in areas such as Maritime Logistics, Green Logistics, Smart Cities, Energy Planning, Oil & Gas, Marine Biology, and Health Systems Engineering.
