Clarissa Bergman Fonte
Doctoral Student
Clarissa is a doctoral candidate at the Energy Planning Program at COPPE/UFRJ. She holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from UFRJ and a master's degree in Energy Planning from COPPE/UFRJ. Her main research interests are energy transition and climate change mitigation. Her work focuses on renewable fuels and materials, both bio-based and hydrogen-based, and she is currently investigating pathways for refineries to adapt to reduced oil demand. Other research topics include: renewable hydrogen production and applications; negative emissions technologies; and the decarbonization of industrial sectors.
