Assistant Professor
Doctor and Master in Energy Planning from COPPE/UFRJ and Chemical Engineer from Fluminense Federal University (UFF), with an exchange program at Hochschule Ruhr-West (HRW), Germany, where he studied Economic Engineering – Energy Systems. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at PPE/COPPE/UFRJ in the area of Energy Transition and Sustainability and a researcher at the Cenergia laboratory, working on projects related to decarbonization planning of economic chains and long-term scenarios. He was the technical coordinator of the Pernambuco Decarbonization Plan for GIZ. He has experience and interest in Biotechnology, Renewable Energy, Biorefineries, and Carbon Capture, Transport, and Storage Technologies.
